RESG has substantial experience and deep understanding of all solar technologies including, but not limited to, solar photovoltaics, solar thermal, concentrated solar and thin-film solar applications. Our partners have worked extensively on strategies to expand the enhanced use of rooftop and utility-scale deployment of these technologies.
Wind
RESG has experience in residential, small-scale, and utility-scale wind technologies. The Real Energy Strategies Group provides clients with technical recommendations relating to scale, select technologies, and manage realistic expectations for siting these generating technologies. We have first-hand experience relating to Florida’s first large utility-scale wind project, as well as, small-scale wind project for distributed generation.
Nuclear
RESG has extensive and first-hand industry experience with nuclear energy. We have worked extensively on the successful siting of Florida’s first nuclear power plant in over 30 years, as well as the siting of numerous transmission and distribution lines related to siting these power plants.
Biofuels
RESG currently holds the position of Executive Director of the Florida Biofuels Association (FBFA). The FBFA association is the premier association that advocates for the responsible use of first and second generation biofuels. Real Energy Strategies Group views biofuels as a short term and long term solution to energy demands.
Smart Grid, Energy Efficiency and Demand Side Management (Demand Response & Smart Grid)
RESG has a strong knowledge base in analyzing and providing sound strategies for cost-effective energy efficiency goal setting proceedings that face the utility sector.
